Winners for the Salon Awards 21
Winners revealed the Salon Awards 2021 in London
The Salon Awards:Hair took place at the Leonardo Royal Hotel in London where the winners
for 2021 were revealed. The Salon Awards celebrate the talented hair professionals for
individual, business and team accomplishments in their local area.
From more than 1100 entries, and 600 finalists, 410 hair professionals came together for a
unique event in London to find out who the winners were.
The evening was co-hosted by Kate Jeffery, Founder of the Salon Awards and Errol Douglas
MBE. Guests arrived to a sparkling cocktail reception with canapes, treated to a luxurious
three-course dinner before the 277 winners were announced from all corners of the UK and
NI.
Several of the Salon Awards partners presented awards on the night, Tommy Cuccoli, Owner
and Founder of TUFT Europe UK and Ireland, co-presented the Creative Image Award with
UK and Ireland, Rae Palmer UK Managing Director for TUFT. JC Aucamp, Founding Director
for Salon Sustainability, took to the stage to present the awards for the Most Sustainable
Salon award winners.
Kate Jeffery – Salon Awards founder said “each year the Salon Awards just gets better and
better, from the quality and number of entries, to the support from judges, the entrants and
partners, reward and recognition for industry professionals is essential for growth and
longevity. It’s a really inspiring time for the industry, who are on a collaborative mission to
improve standards and look after their industry, so taking part in the Salon Awards is a great
way to elevate professionalism in their local area and an integral part of the marketing
recipe. The impending threat from the pandemic all year has made event planning
incredibly difficult, I was unsure whether we would even be able to have a live event, so to
be able to bring everyone together was really remarkable. I can’t wait for next year”.
The Salon Awards are supported by partners TUFT, WeLove, Clean IT and Barry Jeffery
Photography, and entries are judged by a panel of hair industry professionals, business
gurus, and prolific business owners alike from around the globe, including Eugene Davis,
Karine Jackson, Paul Falltrick, Sally Lemmo, Penny Etheridge, Abigail Gibson-Wass, Craig
Chapman, Ashleigh Hodges, Faye Hawkins. The Salon Awards ethos is to provide a fair and
accessible competition for all.
We are extremely proud to have not only become finalists in the best Salon and best colour Salon in Herts, bit to then go on and win Best Salon Herts.
