Hairdressers texturise hair to add and create volume and movement and to remove bulk
Adding texture can revitalise a hairstyle by using different cutting techniques and different tools.by cutting in different angles this can create lots of dimension to different parts of the hair when needed.
Hair types that can be texturised are all types from fine to medium,thick ,wavy ,curly,and straight.
Texturissing these types will add movement,volume,softness,blends more and takes away any bulk .
Different techniques are point cutting slicing chipping razor cutting and more.
We use different tools to create these looks scissors,razors,thinning scissors and we often graduate texture into the hair style to help it’s shape
For example straight thick hair can be razored and thinned to create a contemporary flowing look
Chipping into the hair at the med length and ends elimates excess areas of the hair that are to bulky
When having a haircut discuss with your stylist the different looks you want to achieve so they can help decide what texturising techniques to use to get the desired look
