Cancellation policy

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR APPOINTMENTS

Your appointments are very important to us at Fred & Ginger Hair  and  Beauty and your appointment are reserved just for you. While we understand that sometimes adjustments are necessary, we respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations and we will do our very best to reschedule your service for another time that is convenient to you.

Please understand that if you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough prior notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list will miss the opportunity to receive our services.

CANCELLATION FEES

Since the services are reserved especially for you, a cancellation fee will apply if you fail to give us at least 24 hours’ notice that you are not able to make your appointment.

When you book an appointment, you will be required to pay us a reservation fee of 50% at times of the total full price of the treatment booked, all of which we will be entitled to keep as set out below. If you later cancel the appointment without giving us prior notice of at least 24hours the reservation fee will not be transferred to a future booking. Reservation fees will be equal to 50% of the full price of the services required;

 

If you do not give us at least 24hours prior notice of cancellation of an appointment, we will be entitled to charge you for any financial loss that we suffer due to your cancellation but not more than 50% of the full price of the appointment. We will be entitled to deduct that charge from any sum (including, but not limited to any reservations fees) you paid in advance;

 

If, due to exceptional circumstances including, but not limited to accidents and bereavement, you cancel an appointment without giving us at least 24 hours prior notice, we will consider the circumstances and in our discretion decide whether to waive any charge for late cancellation that we are entitled to make.

If you do not cancel your appointment and do not arrive for yoir appointment you will be notified and a record will be kept on your client file, 50% of your total treatment cost will be kept for your appointment.

Please note:

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
  • ‘No shows’ will be charged 50% of the reserved service amount.
  • If you are more than 15 minutes late for your service, we may not be able to accommodate you. In this case, the same cancellation fee of 50% of the reserved service amount will apply.

For appointments made within the 24 hour period, if you aren’t able to make your appointment, please cancel within 4-6 hours of your appointment time. Failure to do so will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.

This cancellation policy gives the team at Fred & Ginger Hair  and  Beauty the time to inform our waiting list clients of available appointments and keeps the schedules of our hairdressers filled. Our goal is to provide you with an outstanding level of service and our policies help us to achieve this.

APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATIONS

As a courtesy, we will call, email or text to confirm your appointment at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. If we are unable to reach you, and can only leave a message, please understand that it will be your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and any cancellation fee.
