We would like to take the opportunity to tell you what we will need you to do to help keep both yourself and us safe.

Please make sure, now the weather is getting colder, to wear coats as due to guidelines we have to keep the salon well ventilated.

We now have our NHS track and trace QR code in salon. Please pre empt this by downloading the app. You can opt out if you wish as it is not mandatory. The new #NHSCOVID19app, now available in England and Wales, is the fastest way of knowing when you’re at risk from coronavirus.

Please be aware if you have not had a skin test or colour in the last 6 months with us and or you are a new client and are booked for colour you will need to have a skin test at least 48hours before your appointment. This will need to be booked in as an appointment.

Due to current extra measures taken by the salon there will be a small COVID-19 charge added to your bill at the end. This is a temporary measure and when procedures are relaxed this will be eliminated from our pricing structure.

Please do not come to the salon if you are showing signs of COVID-19,  a member of your household has been showing signs or if you have been in close contact to someone who has. If you have travelled within the last 14 days we request you do not attend your appointment.

The signs to look out for are a continuous new cough, and/or a temperature or lack of taste and/or smell. Please seek NHS advice if you are unsure.

We would appreciate you talking through with your stylist what you would like done to your hair prior to coming in. We can then advise on the cost of your appointment as in some areas – especially colour services – there will be an increase in cost due to the amount of product used.

We have to stick to appointment times therefore we cannot do something big if we are not aware of it so please provide us with all the necessary information needed when you book your appointment.

Please come alone. No one will be allowed to enter the salon with out an appointment for them. No children, no partners allowed. Also clients who come to their appointments and we are not ready will be asked to wait outside. (If we know this will be a long wait time we will call you) If you are coming in for a child’s appointment can we ask just one child to one parent.

Please hang up any coats or overlay that you may want to not wear whilst having your hair done.  In light of the current situation, we would be appreciate these being spaced out (ask your stylist). We hate having to ask this as we we feel it’s part of the service we provide but these are guidelines required of us. We also ask you to bring a minimal amount of bags with you.

The salon is regularly cleaned every day and deep cleaned every evening. We will continue cleaning the salons to our usual high standard and use anti-bacterial spray on door handles, handrails, toilet flushes, taps and other areas of multiple contact.

We will continue this practice throughout the day and all areas of contact are cleaned with anti-bacterial products between clients.

Please note, we store our implements in Barbicide and our staff are washing their hands after every single client; using hand the washing technique as set out by the WHO.

Please also note that not all stations will be in use at the same time and staff are working in bubbles to minimise risk.

We now disinfect our reception desk after every transaction and all door handles at regular intervals throughout the day.

Skin tests will be done by appointment.

Unfortunately we can not provide magazines at this time.

Beverages will be supplied in disposable cups but we ask you respectfully to only drink when you are 2 metres away from your stylist as you will need to lift mask away from face to do so. We will also kindly ask that you not eat in the salon as this requires removal of the mask.

We request Apple Pay/contactless transactions where possible, we can not take cash at this time.

We are checking in with staff daily to ensure they are healthy and well, and have not been in contact with anyone who has travelled from the worst affected COVID-19 areas.

Please don’t be offended, but we will be asking anyone coming to the salon for their appointment to also wash their hands on arrival and wear a face mask that covers mouth and nose on entering the salon that you can either provide yourself or we will provide for you.

All staff members will be wearing a visor following guidance that has been set by the government.
