On 25th October 2014, Fred & Ginger Hair and Beauty opened its doors for the very first time, with a mission to bring exceptional hair care, styling, and beauty services to our community. Today, as we celebrate our 10-year anniversary, we’re reflecting on a decade of growth, achievements, and the incredible team that has made it all possible.

When Fred & Ginger first opened, the vision was simple: to create a salon where clients could feel confident, cared for, and leave with a look they love. Over the years, our salon has grown in size and reputation, becoming a multi-award-winning establishment, known for our dedication to client satisfaction and our passion for styling and colouring.
We are honoured to have received several prestigious awards, with the most recent coming from The British Hair and Beauty Awards this year, recognizing the talents of both Becky and Izzy. These awards are a testament to the hard work and creativity that our team brings to the salon every single day.
A Team Like No Other
The heart of Fred & Ginger has always been its incredible team. We are beyond fortunate to have a group of dedicated professionals who have helped shape the salon into what it is today. A special mention goes to George, who has been with Becky since day one. George’s loyalty, talent, and dedication have been instrumental in the growth of Fred & Ginger, and we’re so grateful to have her as part of the team.
Alongside George, we have watched young talents flourish over the years. Izzy and Lilly, who both started as apprentices, have grown into fully qualified stylists, and continue to wow us with their skills and passion. Their journey from training to becoming integral parts of our stylist team has been a proud moment for everyone at the salon.
Looking forward, we’re excited to see our next generation of talent develop. Jas, our latest apprentice, is progressing through our training program with enthusiasm and drive, and we can’t wait to see her future unfold at Fred & Ginger.
