The impact of late cancellations

The Impact of Late Cancellations & Why Our 24-Hour Policy Matters

At our salon, we understand that life can be unpredictable—things come up, schedules change, and sometimes, appointments need to be rescheduled. However, last-minute cancellations or no-shows can have a significant impact on our business, our stylists, and other guests who may have been waiting for an appointment.

Why Late Cancellations Affect Us

When an appointment is cancelled at short notice, it’s often too late for us to fill that slot. This means:

Lost Income for Stylists – Our team works on an appointment-based schedule, and a missed booking means lost earnings.

Wasted Time – Stylists set aside dedicated time for each guest, and last-minute cancellations leave gaps in their day that could have been filled.

Disruptions to Other Guests – Many of our clients book well in advance. A last-minute cancellation means someone else has missed the opportunity to book that slot.

Our 24-Hour Cancellation Policy

To help minimise these disruptions, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows us time to offer your appointment to someone else and ensure our stylists’ time is used effectively.

How You Can Help

If you know you can’t make your appointment, let us know as soon as possible.

If you have a busy schedule, consider booking at a time when you’re less likely to need to cancel.

If you’re feeling unwell, we appreciate early notice so we can adjust accordingly.

We truly appreciate your support in helping us run an efficient salon while continuing to provide the best service possible. Thank you for understanding!

Need to reschedule? Give us a call or message us—we’re happy to help! 💕
